The Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) is offering four scholarships of $4,000 each for the 2007-2008 academic year: The Ephraim Family scholarship, The Sharon A. Palermo Memorial scholarship, The Tom Skilling scholarship, and the NATAS Board of Governors scholarship.
The scholarships have been established by the Board of Governors to assist and encourage talented students committed to careers in the television industry—made in conjunction with some of Chicago’s television legends as principal donors.
Applicants are required to complete and return application materials by Monday, April 16, 2007. Finalists will be interviewed by the scholarship panel in early to Mid-May of 2007 depending upon applicant availability. Please note that the deadline date is two months earlier than previous years.
Go to http://www.chicagoemmyonline.org/scholarships.php for more information and to download the application.
