The Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the TV Academy offers $4,000 scholarships each year to talented students committed to careers in the television industry. Applicants are required to complete and return the Application by 5:00 pm on Monday, June 28, 2004.
To be eligible, applicants must: - Be enrolled in an accredited college or university within the ADI (area of dominant influence) of the Chicago television stations OR be a relative of a member in good standing of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of NATAS.
- Have attained senior level status, in a bachelor's degree program, as of the Fall term of the year of the application OR be enrolled in a graduate degree program in that term.
- Be able to demonstrate a course of study that supports the intention to pursue a career in the television industry.
The Selection Process - Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of professional potential and commitment. Applicants are required to complete and return the Application by 5:00 pm on Monday, June 28, 2004. (The application requires Microsoft Word.) Finalists will be interviewed by the scholarship panel at the end of August 2004, and winners will be notified soon afterward.
