Special Charter Membership to the National Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (NAMAS)

“This peer group recognizes the new digital generation that has captivated our industry,” says Peter Price, President/CEO, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). "Through the formation of this peer group, we will embrace our peers in the new media and broaden our membership to include television and media.”  NAMAS is administered by the National office in New York and not by the local chapters of NATAS.

• Current members of NATAS who also qualify for NAMAS will enjoy all rights and privileges of charter membership without additional cost. However, you must apply for NAMAS membership through the National NAMAS office. To be accepted you must qualify as a working professional in digital media, please go to http://www.emmyonline.org/namas/application.html and be sure to attach your bio so they can certify your credentials as a creator, producer, technologist or executive in any form of electronic or print media including the related disciplines of advertising and marketing.

• All charter members, not currently members of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), who administers NAMAS, will be entitled to professional membership and all privileges in the NATAS regional chapter closest to their registered address. Join NAMAS as a charter member at the very modest rate of $100 per year. Charter members will receive regular private briefings about digital industry developments, invitations to regional events, and be invited to the inaugural Academy dinner at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 7th, including a day of special member-only events.
