Registration opens at: 6:40 p.m.
Event Begins 7:00 p.m.
College students and NATAS members will have the opportunity to learn about the do’s and don’ts of interviewing.
What do you say or do not say? What is the proper way to act? How do you know the way to dress? Do you always bring samples of your work? How much time do you let go by before you know if you got the job?
During the workshop the speakers will introduce themselves and give their brief professional background. The speakers will discuss what they look for in a potential employee or intern; based on certain jobs. Television professionals will do a mock interview with two interns; to show the difference between a good and bad interview.
After this presentation the stage will be open for a question and answer session.
Speakers include producer Pam Grimes from WGN, Dan Lombardi from Grand and Noble Productions, and Jennifer Halperin, Columbia College Journalism Internship Coordinator.
