Learn what a talent coach can do for your career or your newscast, when you should seek coaching, and the cost of coaching.  Open to all reporters, anchors, weather and sports talent, as well as producers and station management.

Columbia College Television Studio, 600 S. Michigan, 15th Floor, Chicago
(Take the elevator which is marked as being able to go to the 15th floor.
If it drops you off at the 14th floor then walk up to 15.)

Description:

This workshop will provide demonstrations on how a talent coach works. A number of volunteers will be selected from the audience to experience an evaluation of their presentation and receive tips on how to improve.

Joni M. Brander, of Brander Broadcast Consulting in Chicago, www.thetvcoach.com, will conduct this workshop.  She is a nationally recognized coach with 15 years experience.  Her clients range from CNN and the top 10 markets to the smallest markets.

This is your chance to get some great improvement tips for your own work or for anyone on your staff, or to simply watch and learn.  Bring a VHS tape if you would like to participate.
