"Role Models"

Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott star in "Role Models" as Danny and

Wheeler, two salesmen who trash a company truck on an energy
drink-fueled bender. Upon their arrest, the court gives them a choice:
do hard time or spend 150 service hours with a mentorship program.
After one day with the kids, however, jail doesn't look half bad.

Surrounded by annoying do-gooders, Danny struggles with his every
neurotic impulse to guide Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) through the
trials of becoming a man. Unfortunately, the guy just dumped by his
girlfriend (Elizabeth Banks) has only sarcasm to offer a bashful
16-year-old obsessed with medieval role play.

Meanwhile, charming Wheeler tries to trade in an addiction to partying
and women to assist a fifth-grader named Ronnie (Bobb'e J. Thompson)
in redirecting his foul-mouthed ways. It would probably help if
Ronnie's new mentor wasn't an overgrown adolescent whose idea of
quality time includes keggers in Venice Beach.

Once the center's ex-con director (Jane Lynch) gives them an
ultimatum, Danny and Wheeler are forced to tailor their brand of
immature wisdom to their charges. And if they can just make it through
probation without getting thrown in jail, the world's worst role
models will prove that, sometimes, it takes a village idiot to raise a
child.

AMC River East, 21, 322 E. Illinois, Chicago

BRING THE FAMILY AND KIDS!

Long before Peter Pan and the Lost Boys soared into Never Land, the world's most beloved fairy and her friends were creating their own special magic. For the very first time in film, Tinker Bell opens the doors to Pixie Hollow, a secret hideaway deep in the heart of Never Land, where the Disney Fairies make their home.
Have you ever wondered how a flower gets its color…or pondered the source of a dew drop … or contemplated from where rainbows originate? It's all the work of fairies! This landmark motion picture from DisneyToon Studios reveals the story of Tinker Bell's early life in the fantastic world of Pixie Hollow. Each fairy is born with a special talent, whether it's making flowers grow, giving fireflies their light or tracing beautiful patterns into a winter morning's frost.

TINKER BELL will be released to DVD October 28.

invited to an IFP/Chicago Screening of

"Free For All!"

FREE FOR ALL! features filmmaker John Wellington Ennis-a disillusioned American-in Ohio with a camera, business suit, sense of humor and faded ideals.  The film explores the history of election fraud and delves into the misconduct happening in the U.S. since the famed 2000 Election when thousands of black Democratic voters were disenfranchised in Florida. Ennis notices the pattern reoccurring again in the 2004 Election, so he grabs his camera for the 2006 election, and goes on a mission to find answers in the swing state of Ohio.  Ennis is also a co-founder of Video the Vote (www.videothevote.org), a group of volunteer citizen journalists strengthening democracy by observing elections and sharing the results. Filmmaker and star of FREE FOR ALL! John Wellington Ennis will be in attendance for a Q&A.

"Slumdog Millionaire"

Slumdog Millionaire is the story of Jamal Malik, an 18-year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much? Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life in the slum where he and his brother grew up, of their adventures together on the road, of vicious encounters with local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Each chapter of his story reveals the key to the answer to one of the game show's questions.

Intrigued by Jamal's story, the jaded Police Inspector begins to wonder what a young man with no apparent desire for riches is really doing on this game show?
