Where the smash hit “The Princess Diaries” ended, the fun begins as Princess Mia (ANNE HATHAWAY) is in for an all-new set of lessons from Queen Clarisse (JULIE ANDREWS).

Mia’s made the transformation from gawky American teen to refined young woman, and if the road hasn’t always been smooth, she’s had her beautiful, wise grandmother to ease the way.  But if Mia thought it was hard becoming a princess, she’s wholly unprepared for what it’s going to take to turn her into a queen. And the stakes for Mia have never been higher – Genovian law states that princesses must be married before being crowned!  In the quest for a groom, comedy and complications rule the day as the cast and filmmakers behind the first film return for this hilarious romantic comedy.  Directed by Garry Marshall. Rated G.
