The most successful pin-up of the 1950s, Bettie Page's legendary photographs made her the target of a Senate investigation into pornography, and turned her into one of the first sex icons. "The Notorious Bettie Page" stars Gretchen Mol ("The Shape of Things," "Sweet and Lowdown"), Lili Taylor ("Casa de los Babys," "High Fidelity"), Jonathan M. Woodward ("Pipe Dream"), David Strathairn ("Good Night, and Good Luck"), Cara Seymour ("Hotel Rwanda"), Tara Subkoff ("The Cell") and Kevin Carroll ("The Secret Lives of Dentists"). The film is directed by Mary Harron ("American Psycho," "I Shot Andy Warhol") and written by Mary Harron and Guinevere Turner ("American Psycho"). Picturehouse will release "The Notorious Bettie Page" in select cities on April 14, 2006. The film is rated R for nudity, sexual content and some language by the MPAA. As seating is on a first come, first served basis, your early arrival is suggested. No one will be admitted once theater capacity is reached.
