TV ACADEMY SCREENING FOR FEBRUARY
"Pooh's Heffalump Movie" Saturday, February 5, 2005 - 10:00am Webster Place Theatres, 1471 W. Webster, Chicago BRING THE FAMILY AND KIDS!
The Hundred Acre Wood crew is together again in POOH’S HEFFALUMP
MOVIE, this time learning the life lesson of being accepting of others’
differences and the value of true friendship. Awakened by a rumbling
that could only be made by the much-feared Heffalump, Pooh, Piglet, and
Tigger set out to capture the creature once and for all. Disregarded as
too young to partake in such a dangerous expedition, Roo opts to search
on his own – with far greater success than his friends. In meeting a
young, playful Heffalump named Lumpy, Roo quickly learns an important
lesson: Heffalumps are nothing like what he’s been told, and he has
much more to gain by befriending Lumpy than fearing him. Roo and Lumpy
strike up a sweet friendship and work together to dispel the unfounded
fears of their respective friends and families. POOH’S
HEFFALUMP MOVIE features four original songs by multi-award winning
singer and songwriter Carly Simon with a score composed by Joel
McNeely. A favorite with families since 1926, A.A. Milne’s “Winnie the
Pooh” stories have continued to delight and entertain for generations.
Jim Cummings reprises his roles as both Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and
two-time Oscar®-nominee Brenda Blethyn voices Mama Heffalump. We thank
the advertising, publicity and promotions firm John Iltis Associates
for making this screening possible. TV ACADEMY MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE A PASS IN THE MAIL THAT WILL ADMIT YOU AND GUESTS (6 max. please). AS
SEATING IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS, YOUR EARLY ARRIVAL IS
SUGGESTED. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED ONCE THEATRE CAPACITY IS REACHED. Enjoy the Show! Todd Lizak, Dan Moore, Film Club Chairs
