Free Preview of the new NBC show SMASH

Star and Producers to attend!

SMASH debuts the Monday after the Super Bowl and NBC is really excited about it. NBC is hosting a special VIP screening of the premiere episode on Monday, January 9^th, 7:30 PM at the Showplace Icon followed by Q&A with star Brian d’Arcy James (Shrek the Musical) and legendary producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago, Hairspray) . All guests will receive complimentary popcorn and drink as well!

The show revolves around a group of characters who come together to put on a Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. But before that can happen, the people who will try to bring it all together must deal with their own personal acts. The series will feature original music by composers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
