New Venue!
New Date!
More Fun!
The Emmy Production Committee has decided to hold our event at the Park West on Saturday, November 7th. You're right, we'd planned on getting together on November 14th at the Hyatt McCormick Place. We love the Hyatt but unfortunately, it just was not working with our tighter budget, and we want to have a party you can afford to attend.
The reason we made the switch at this late date is the bottom line. As all non-profits, in this financially difficult time, we want to keep our production costs down so you, our attendees, can have a lower ticket price and we can still give you a great celebration. The early ticket rate is $125 (before 10/28/09) and $145 for latecomers. VIP boxes are even available for purchase if you want you a more private area for your group. The event will be lively, fun and humorous while honoring the best in local television. Our own Tim Kazurinsky (Chicagoan, former SNL cast member and Chicago/Midwest NATAS member) will put on his hosting suit, and we plan to have many comedic breaks during the show.
A delicious dinner buffet will be served and a full cash bar will be available.
Emmy Production Co-Chairs Adam Marton and David Ratzlaff have done a great job making this change and they are both very confident about this move. We'll see you there!
